John Kerry being reviewed for defense secretary

Today, President Obama has discussed his interest in naming Sen. John Kerry the new defense secretary. The position has recently become of available because of  David H. Petraeus's scandal involving a marriage affair he had. Pertaeus was asked to resign the position over and he complied.

Others have discussed the President's interests and have predicted that Susan E. Rice (US Ambassador or the UN) will receive the nomination after all is said and done.

Rice has also received critic acclaim due to the Benghazi strikes which killed US Ambassador Christopher Stevens and 3 others.



This day also marks the Presidents journey to find a new placement as Secretary of State replacing Hilary Clinton.
