Palestinian and Israel forces agree to ceasefire

A Hamas police officer is hugged by a Palestinian man after they returned to their destroyed police headquarters in Gaza City November 22, 2012
 BBC News
A Palestinian newspaper has reported that the government intends to make November 22, 2012 a national holiday because of the truce and will try to seek other solutions to a problem because "...wars do not resolve problems, but create new ones."

At least 157 people have died from both countries from cause of the recent attacks both countries have inflicted upon each other.

The truce deal outlines that both feuding countries aren't allowed attacks through sea, land, or air.

The Hamas political leader was quoted saying that the Israel offensive has failed and thanked Egypt for mediating the deal because it "met most of his demands." Israel has also stated that now is the time for the growing of general stability and that both countries should look to this as a step in moving forward.

OPINION
Although the truce is a great thing and will save many lives, the Hamas political leader Khaled Meshaal, seems to be taking the victory sides of things which is obviously not good for worldwide morale.  I hope this truce continues and will manage to create a better standing of each other.
